For the past few days I've been on the forums on fanfiction.net. Finally! People I can talk to about my unhealthy obsession! Of course, there are people at my school who like anime and fanfiction and such, but... they're immature and close-minded. The only fanfiction they read is the cliche, overused, character-bashing, unrealistic, OOC, Mary-sue shit. You know, bad fanfiction.
I got to talking to one of them (at my school) and we exchanged lists of our favorite fanfictions. Her favorites were... pitiable at best. -shakes head- The English language did not emerge unscathed. If that's the kind of dribble she reads, I doubt she could even understand the list I gave her. No, the otakus at school are not an option.
And I'm pretty sure they hate me, anyway. -shrugs- Prejudiced, close-minded bastards.
But anyway, I'm glad to have found some intelligent people to discuss fanfiction and anime with. -squeals-
